Price slashed for Kythnos, Greek island six-day wildlife tour Monday 27 March

Kythnos Hiking ( has cut the price of its 27 March wildlife tour to the Greek island to 740 euro, from 790 euro, in a last minute offer for sightings of migrating birds and exotic flowers.

The tour will be led by top Greek nature guide David Koutsogiannopoulos (, include a round-island boat trip to see seas birds and search for shy and rare monk seals.

The per person price includes ferries to the island, accommodation, breakfast, dinner, the boat trip, use of minibus, and the guiding. There will be minimal amounts of walking to make time for photos. Booking is here.

Rare flowers only in bloom in this narrow spring window include a big range of orchids and fritillaries, such as the black Kythnos fritillary similar to a small tulip.

From Monday 10 April we will start regular walking tours across the island. The six-day tour, which is already guaranteed to go, can be extended to eight days to include the Greek Orthodox Easter celebrations.More on 2023 plans here.
