Prices for guided hiking tours on the Greek island of Kythnos ( and its neighbour Serifos will rise by an average of 10 percent for bookings from 15 January 2022 mainly to take account of planned tariff increases at hotels we use.

The 6-day/5-night Kythnos tour price rises to 435 euro per person, from 395, and the 4-day/3-night tour price goes up to 345 euro, from 315. A similar increase applies to the weekend tour. The one-day fee, which excludes accommodation, is unchanged at 25 euro.

For Serifos, the 5-day/4-night tour will cost each walker 375 euro, up from 340, as always including all ferries.

Kythnos Hiking believes it is still very competitive with rival hiking operators, and that the price rises are also justified by the strong reviews we have won this year when business has returned more or less to pre-Covid norms.

Our tours in 2022 will continue to include options for sea kayaking, snorkel, and a massage. Additions under consideration as options include bay-to-bay swim tours accompanied by guide and safety boat or kayak.

Nature tours are scheduled for 21 March 2022 with partner, our own nature tour a week or two later, plus a Greek Easter tour including religious services, procession, special food, music and dancing.

All tours include the option of getting the Monday ferry from Piraeus, rather than the shorter crossing from Lavrio, thus allowing for early arrivals to spend a weekend in Athens centre and see all its ancient historic sites at ease.

Pricing of single supplements will stay unchanged in order to encourage unaccompanied walkers. Alternatively we use best efforts to arrange room shares for single travellers. Booking is found here.
