Kythnos Hiking (www.kythnoshiking.com) is pushing fully as a supporter of sustainable holidays on the Greek Cycladic island in order to preserve its natural beauty, protect its environment, and support the island community.
The nature tour will view exotic orchid and fritillary flowers, and migrating birds on their annual sojourn from Africa to the north of Europe. This tour includes a round-the-island boat tour to search out rare monk seals and sea birds.

The Easter tour runs from Monday 29 April for 8 days, including Friday's procession with the community through the village, the Saturday evening resurrection of Christ and fast-breaking, and Sunday's roast lamb, traditional music and dancing.
On sustainability we committed some years back to tour-aggregator Responsible Travel's sustainable values and principles, and are working towards becoming a partner of Travelife, which certifies many tourism actitivities after an audit.
Our guided hiking tours will run from 8 April each week up until the end of October, though with a break in July and August when it is too hot to walk.
Latest prices include the ferry to Kythnos, all transfers, accommodation, breakfast. dinner, and guiding.
