x Sifnos research cuts costs of tour
x Mycenae, Venetian sites up appeal
x Kythnos, Serifos tours open for autumn bookings

Kythnos Hiking (www.kythnoshiking.com), the operator of tours to Cycladic Greek islands is cutting the price of its new guided tour to Sifnos after conducting more research on the island famed for its Mycenae and Venetian historic sites.

The new price of 495 euro, down 15 percent from 575 euro, still reflects the higher prices for ferries to a slightly more distant island, than our main market leader of Kythnos island, and other local cost factors. Booking is here.

The tour (Sifnos programme link) will incorporate all the features of our Kythnos and Serifos tours, such as the historic sites to visit, the routes, good choice of a variety of restaurants, local produce visits, beaches, and a local guide.

The new Sifnos tour will appeal particularly to those walkers who have joined us on the other two west Cycladic islands. Sifnos can also be combined with tours to Kythnos and Serifos.

The timing of the Sifnos tour on 13 September also allows guests to visit the cooking festival held annually to recall the great Sifnos chef Nikos Tselementes and to taste food cooked on other Greek islands and even other countries.

After our pause for hot weather booking for Sifnos, Kythnos and Serifos is still available in September and Octoober.
