x Kythnos availability for September, start Oct
x Serifos Sept tours attract strong interest
x Nature tours readied for spring 2020
After the summer pause, hiking on the Greek island of Kythnos is attracting good demand for six-day holidays in September, starting on Monday each week, and there is availibility most weeks.
In the latter part of September we will continue our adventure on the neighbouring Cycladic island of Serifos where we visit a working monastery and an active winery and cheesemaker.
Full details on booking are available on our newly updated website www.kythnoshiking.com. The new site includes a special feature on Greek vegetarian dishes available on the islands.
Historic sites - such as the ancient city excavation and Byzantine castle - remain a key component of Kythnos Hiking along with crossing wild countryside, hot springs, and beaches each day.
We are confident our top guiding team will lead guests to all our the best locations in good time for a lunch break on the beach. If this does not look possible we advise on taking snacks.
We will endeavour while it is still warm to incorporate additional activities in the afternoon, such as snorkel, sea kayaking, and to relax a massage on the beach.
For 2020, we are developing nature tours - either heavy-duty tours for specialist naturalists or tours with a significant degree of walking but containing strong nature passages.
We continue to work on direct sales via our retail website as well as with a variety of tour operators across Europe.
